Design of an e-Learning platform in the field of Innovation Management for engineers

Creativity and management of innovation are areas that are gaining increasing attention in this period of an intense global competition with organizations being forced to protect and commercialize their intellectual assets at any time. This paper describes the designing process of the main components of an e-Learning platform entitled E-Inova that is under development within the Pro-Inova Project. The project SOP HARD/21/1.5/G/24239 (http://proinova.utcluj.ro/) belongs to the European Social Fund (ESF) Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development (SOP HARD) 2007-2013 frame and it is coordinated by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Its main goal is to provide a new educational program in the field of Innovation Management, offering support and competences to the PhD students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in their research and innovation activities.
