Abstract :
Traditional ayurvedic doctors are able to identify so many diseases simply by reading the pulse of a patient. An automatic way of identifying diabetic cases just from the wrist pulses of a person is attempted in this work. In the previous work [3], we have attempted to classify the normal and diabetic cases using Approximate Entropy (ApEn). The margin for classification was very narrow and hence in this work we have used Sample Entropy (SampEn) for classifying. The results showed a better margin for classifying the diabetic from the normal cases.
