Abstract :
In this paper we discussed on photovoltaic cell power generation and its area of application. In recent years it has been proved to be a cost-effective method for generation of electricity with minimum environmental impact. The paper concentrates on the operation and modelling of standalone power system with PV power generation for remote area application. The design and modelling of photovoltaic cell power system for the remote area application have been simulated using simulink software. The simulink results are evaluated and the effectiveness of the given system is proved.
