Abstract :
This paper provides an efficient way to eliminate the interharmonics appearing in the adjustable speed drives. The conventional diode bridge rectifier is replaced by controlled rectifier to have better control over the interharmonics adverse effects in the drive. The proposed method also eliminates the use of supply side impedance to reduce the interharmonics in the system. Thereby, it increases the system capability to oppose interharmonics is increased. The proposed method is simulated and compared with different conventional elimination method of interharmonics.
