  • Abstract
    The results of nested wire array Z-pinch experiments dominated by a switching of current from the outer to the inner array are presented. The various stages of X-ray emission are related to the dynamics of the outer and inner arrays. The dependence of the X-ray pulse shape on the diameter of the inner array was also explored.
