Abstract :
MCG peculiarity, as a source of initial current is determined by low inductance of 20–40 nH (voltage of ∼100 kV) in accumulation contour. To simulate current breaking process in this conditions, and to obtain necessary voltages of ∼2MV for creation of complex EMIR forming system, it is necessary to realize high voltage amplifications in ∼20 times, and energy in ∼10 times. Calculated optimization of the scheme of explosive experiment on MCG current breaking of ∼2MA amplitude and ∼1 µs duration using POS is performed. Results of laboratory development of explosive experiment scheme, are presented in the paper.
