  • Abstract
    A high-Power and high-voltage dc power supply has been developed for the accelerators and pulsed power applications based on series resonant converter technology. The dc power supply adopted a 31.2 kHz IGBT series resonant snubber-less inverter. The performance test was carried out for two applications, for dc power supply and for capacitor charging power supply. As the dc power supply, output power of 48 kW and 67 kW were obtained under the continuous operation and interval that of 50% duty, respectively. As the capacitor charging power supply, the output energy Echg of 12.0 J and peak charge rate Pchg of 46.0 kJ/s were obtained.
