Abstract :
This research has been carried out to develop a low-energy large-aperture pulsed electron beam (LELAEB) generator, for industrial applications, for example, waste water cleaning, flue gas cleaning, pasteurization, etc. One of the most important features of this electron beam generator is the large electronbeam cross section, up to 200 cm2. In this research, a LELAEB generator of 200 keV was designed and setup, and a large-aperture electron beam was obtained in air outside of the generator. The electron beam current of this LELAEB generator was measured at the several different conditions.
