Abstract :
Distribution of electron trajectories over pitch-angles in strong magnetic field are studied. High current density and pulse duration ∼ 1 µs do not hinder to distinguish small pitch-angles (∼ 1°) by the new method. The explosive cathode of proposed construction generates high-current annular REB with absolutely stable shape and pitch-angles not exceeding 4° throughout microsecond pulse.
