Abstract :
In this paper we present experimental results on electric-exploded current opening switch (EEOS) powering from fast helical magneto-cumulative generator (MCG). Energy capacity of such MCG is about ~1 kJ, total operating time is 25 μs, characteristic current rise time (in e-times) is ~2.5 μs. Thin copper wires we used in EEOS. Voltage pulses up to 200 kV with front ~50 ns on resistive load of 25 Ω connected in parallel to EEOS, were formed at the experiments.
