Abstract :
Under the Network Economic Theory, the article analyses the impact of subscriber selection to 3G market development, and propose the subscriber net utility is the main criterion for users in measuring whether purchase 3G service under the supply and demand theory. Then the author probes the profit and cost after subscriber chose the 3G net, and have an conclusion that augmenting customer´s net utility acts crucial role in expanding the customer base and expedite the approach of avalanche point. In addition, related measures for enhancing subscriber net utility are proposed. Tariff and charge is an important leverage to subscriber net utility and will be an effective prescription for expanding customer scale in early stage of 3G market.
