Abstract :
This, paper introduces a new method to tune microwave dielectric resonators controlled by a piezoelectric transducer (PET). The frequency shift changes linearly from -8MHz to 12MHz with a DC voltage from -27V to 27V, and the load quality factor (Ql) varies from 2400 to 2850. Compared with a screw tuning, the piezoelectric transducer tuning shows better linearity and consistence for Ql.
