Abstract :
The effects of nonlinear device on linear component due to electromagnetic coupling inside a metal cavity, which is fed directly by a rectangle loop, are investigated in this paper. Experimental results indicate that the output power from a probe located near a metal loop welding with a diode contains harmonic components. The nonlinear scattering function is used to model the problem, and the amplitude of part of parameters used in the scattering function is derived from experimental results.
