Abstract :
A novel microstrip diplexer with two compact bandpass filters is proposed in this paper. To suppress the spurious response and improve the isolation, we modify the structures with the utilization of Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIRs). This diplexer covers all bands of the standards of IEEE 802.11 family (2.4-2.5GHz and 4.9-5.8GHz). The measured results agree well with the simulated results. The experimental results show that the diplexer has good performance on return loss, insertion loss and isolation.
