Abstract
We report recent progress on an optical atomic clock based on the ultranarrow 1S0-3P0 transition in fermionic neutral strontium atoms confined in an optical lattice. A detailed systematic study of the clock transition frequency is presented along with the recent improvement in the measured line quality factor which is expected to lead to an accuracy of 10-15 or better in the near future.
