Abstract :
We present a review of available techniques for analysing the crosstalk problem in cable harnesses. An overview of the use of the low frequency model and the multiconductor transmission line (MTL) theory for predicting the crosstalk level in two-cable geometries is presented from the theoretical and practical points of view. A comparison of the results of both techniques against available experimental data is presented and the strengths and pitfalls of the models discussed.
