Abstract
The paper presents an improved, efficient method of the frequency sweep for the Finite Difference in Frequency Domain scheme. The number of equations describing the entire analyzed structure is reduced with the Model Order Reduction technique and then diagonalized. Time-expensive inversion of large matrices for each frequency point is substituted by a simple multiplication of a small, diagonal matrix by a vector. The presented fast frequency sweep can also be used for the FDFD containing macromodels.
