Review of cable fault definition methods

Definition of cable lines fault location of distribution power systems at world is one works of survey, emergency and important. As you know, distribution networks can be over head lines and also underground cable lines. This paper investigates only underground cable faults location methods with use of different technologies and to define its strengths and drawbacks and to compare these methods and finally to select optimized method with available technology.
