Abstract :
A novel topology of wind power generator system based on Z-source dc/dc converter is presented in this paper. With wide dc output voltage range, this topology is suitable for series dc wind farm. The operation characteristic and control method of Z-source dc/dc converter are analyzed. Simulation results of 3 series wind generators show that the wind farm interconnected with this topology is feasible.
