Abstract :
High efficiency is the trend for future´s power supply. This paper proposed a competitive high efficiency power solution based on asymmetric H-PFC and high frequency LLC SRC, which has inherent high efficiency compared with state-of-the-art power supply based on traditional topologies. By designing with time domain design tool for LLC SRC, optimizing in magnetic components and synchronous rectifier, the efficiency can reach as high as 98% in telecom power, 96% in server power and 92% in adapter with very high power density.
