Abstract
The huge numbers of the experiment data from the engine test bed are required to monitor and analyse the ENGINE performance for either newly designed Engine or the existed engine. These data will be used to investigate the relationships between the individual engine input parameters & the engine output, to study the best engine performance conditions. The best way to do so is to obtain a mathematics model from the tested data. The paper introduces the Polynomial models used in Engine test data analysis before and then a newly developed Constants, Linear and Exponential (CLE)module have be introduced. Finally the paper introduces how to use the powerful tool, neural network, to modelling the engine performance. At the end of paper, the experiment result show that the newly developed two models, CLE model and NN Model, are both provide the good results.
