Abstract
Particle Swarm Optimization was studied to optimize PID parameters for a rotary stage control system to be used in measurement experiment of gravitational constant G. Based on the modeling of the rotary stage system, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to optimize PID parameters; the simulation result proves the effectiveness of the algorithm and the superiority of the designed controller.
