Abstract :
According to the problems in the practical application in the level control of the continuous casting mould, a solution is put forward, about variable selection method, which based on improved BP neural network. It can give full scope to the self-learning, adaptive and fault tolerant capability of the BP neural network. It can select the variable to the results have important implications, that to control the level constant as the input of the control system. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the solution.
