Research on description method for SOA-based network management system with fractal characters

Service-Oriented Architecture has become a trend in implementing a network management system. Assuming that a network management system consists of independent services, it can reduce coupling between modules and improve the flexibility in system reorganization process, so it is important to study services organization model. For large-scale network, the management regionalization namely use of fractal ideas to organize management services into multiple layers is rational choice. In order to describe the hierarchical organization of management services, a fractal-based description method of management service organization is proposed which is used to build the topology discovery system additionally. And then discovery efficiency and integrity is compared between centralized topology discovery system and the new ones.
