Abstract :
This paper describes the realization of visual object detection system on a DSP. It proposes several approaches, which can speed-up the detection system program to be run in a real-time on a Texas Instruments TMS320DM6437 DSP. Validity of the proposed techniques confirmed during experimental approbation on the real hardware.
