The implementation of an online information service model based on academic social network systems

Recently social network systems have become a hotspot for research and are being used as well in academic communication. As there is great deals of different information about people and their activities, access and information management issues arise. Therefore, in this paper, we present an online information service model based on an academic social network system, and have a successful case study based on SCHOLAT, a social network system for scholars. Our service model deals with information management and sharing issues and can make the management simpler and more reliable.
