Abstract
SOA and BPM can live apart. However; Integration of SOA and BPM is more powerful than either alone. Focusing on business processes is a reputable approach in identifying services. Establishment of business process model is a practical approach for service exploration. It is mentioned from two separate perspectives: information-centric and activity-centric. Business process management helps in exploring services in different levels of granularity. Also, using different approaches for exploring services usually cause granularity conflicts. In this paper we focus on activity-centric business process and information-centric business process approaches cooperating with each other and discuss integration challenges and their granularity adaptation.
