Abstract :
This paper presents a mechanism of content transformation for multiple types of devices in real-time camera streaming service for building energy management and analyzes the performance of the network bandwidth. The streaming data are different types for each infrared and surveillance camera for building energy diagnosis. So, some devices cannot display the streaming data of building energy because of the problems such as codec, bandwidth, frame rate, bit rate and so on. In our environment, devices are provided the transformed data adequate to their devices. Using the proposed content transformation mechanism, users can utilize streaming services suitable for building energy saving, service providers can easily provide one content to multiple devices using transforming scheme and network bandwidth can be saved by using proper size of content for each device.
