The design and implementation of 3D electronic map of campus based on WEBGIS

The three-dimensional electronic map of campus based on WEBGIS, is an electronic map system which takes the Northeast Petroleum University as the prototype. It can implement web publishing and spread the campus culture via the Internet. Moreover, it can provide conveniences for the users roaming campus by means of the system. Equally important, it has certain practical significance to the users. This article describes the development processes and various functions of the three-dimensional electronic map in detail.
