  • Abstract
The difference between digital and analog communications is not well recognized. The author summarizes that (1) analog communication exchanges physical values and digital does logical ones, and (2) at demodulation, receiver performs the inverse operation of that done by the transmitter in analog communication, and in digital communication it implements a regenerative operation. By using (i) logical signals, (ii) logical modulation, (iii) regenerative demodulation, and (iv) error-correction system using redundancy, complex information can be sent to the Logical Layer of destination without a single error for quantum semantic operation. Logical Layer´s operation cannot be discussed without understanding of Physical Layer Channel Coding mechanisms.
