Abstract :
A scheme is put forward in this paper of distributed control system based on programmable logic controller (PLC) and Profibus to solve the vast control scope, wiring complexity, high cost and maintenance inconvenience in coal mine Signal-Centralized-Locking System (SCLS). The implementation of controlling hardware is well discussed, and details of the configuration process are analyzed as well. The advantages of strong real-time capability, low coast and easy extensibility have been manifested in various applications of this system.
