The research on automatic translation of Chinese-Mongolian numerals

In Chinese-Mongolian hybrid machine translation, for numerals that including the open words of infinite vocabulary we can not use statistical method to translate all numerals in real text, so we proposed rule-based method to translate the numerals terms. This paper used rule-based method to complete translation of Chinese-Mongolian numerals. In addition, we also completed the translation of Chinese-Mongolian temporal words. It is proved by experiments that the performance of the Chinese-Mongolian machine translation system can be improved by this method.
