Abstract :
For the quantity limitation problem of motion-capture based controlling of character movement, an improved method of real time weight-based character motion synthesis is proposed, it differ from the traditional fixed weight-based motion synthesis approach. An improved converse kinematics algorithm is adapted to calculate the key frame pose of the character´s movement in real time, and the key frame pose is synthesized as the weight of motion, and composed to be new motion with other moving factor. Using Unity platform as the test bed, the method is validated that multiple motion can be synthesized as will in certain virtual environment.
