  • Abstract
    A new width measurement method for seismic fault is presented. The method detects the edge of the seismic fault with an seismic fault edge detection method based on morphology Haar wavelet, then uses width measurement operator to get width of seismic fault. Extensive experiments have shown that the method proposed in this paper can detect the width of the seismic fault accurately with simple operations, and it is very competitive compared with other methods.
