  • Abstract
    In embedded systems and applications the on-chip Scratch Pad Memories has proven to be more efficient than on-chip caches in energy consumption and speed performance. This paper aims to evaluate and implement new algorithms of pre-fetching as a performance improvement technique for Scratch Pad Memories. Our experiments show that the new algorithms of pre-fetching technique can significantly improve performance.
