Abstract :
A new type of digital ultrasonic inspection device is designed based on pulse reflecting technique which use the FPGA and the ARM technology. Which can build a general platform to adopt different applications and requirements. The FPGA can be flexible to achieve the task of controlling and signal processing, and the ARM embedded system can be used as the core module for controlling testing parameters and display. Comparing with the methods of a data acquisition card & a microprocessor, the device has the characteristic of more efficient, convenient upgrading and maintenance.
