Abstract :
Network supported cooperative learning is a learning process supported by network technology, which enhances learners´ interaction by the sharing and the distribution of knowledge and expertise among community members. Hence, in network supported cooperative learning environments, an aggregation mechanism is necessary for that each student can look for an appropriate learning team or community to accomplish a common goal and discuss for identical themes by cooperation with each other. Hence, this paper proposes an aggregation mechanism based on genetic algorithm (GA) to facilitate students to find appropriate learning communities in network supported cooperative learning environments.
