Abstract

This article introduces the application of information technology in medical education in China, using Guangxi Medical University as an example. It includes the infrastructure of GXMU´s campus network, information technology of school administrative affairs, and various information technology applications in student admissions and employment, education management, classroom teaching, network teaching, laboratory teaching, library services, and logistics´ management. Information technology plays an increasingly important role in modern higher medical education.
