Abstract :
There exist many good and praiseworthy achievements in the field of task design and professor Nunan´s accomplishment in this field is one of the most prominent. He has not only provided us with a theoretical framework for studying and designing tasks in communicative classroom but also offered a series of practical principles in task design for a comprehensive language course. In China, the study and application of task design is increasingly widespread. However, many teachers still encounter the problem that the tasks well designed in advance can not be carried out smoothly in classroom teaching. Because of the lack of the spirit of working hard for a long time, the ones from vocational college have already transferred their interests to other aspects and English learning is a big headache for them. Therefore, it is urgent for teachers to know how to make task design and task implementation more applicable to English classroom of vocational colleges. Adjusting the task steps and offering psychological implications according to Gestalt psychology theories can increase the realism of the task in psychological field. The unity of two fields can stimulate, maintain and improve the learning interest with which the students can be naturally integrated into the tasks.
