Abstract
A fully integrated low power voltage control oscillator K-Band application is presented in this letter. Using Gm-boosted architecture, the power consumption can be lower. In addition, the capacitive filtering technology can prevent the low frequency tail current noise converted into phase noise, the technology used to enhance the phase noise performance. The VCO design and implement in TSMC 0.18μm COMS technology with 1.5V supply voltage, the simulated power consumption is 15 mV, tuning range is 18.56 GHz ~ 17.51 GHz, phase noise at 1-MHz is -112 dBc/Hz, chip size is 0.496 * 0.678 μm2.
