Abstract
The time domain analysis of scattering field for high gain and directivity antennas are presented in this paper. A time domain (TD) transient analysis of the electromagnetic (EM) fields scattered from a perfectly conducting parabolic reflector antenna when it is illuminated by impulsive plane wave and general astigmatic Gaussian Beam (GB) fields, then elliptical reflector antenna illuminated by impulsive plane wave. The potential applications of near-field antennas continue to grow dramatically and desire more exploration in the near future. Phased array antennas for near field focusing radiation are also presented in this paper.
