  • Abstract
    Due to the stability and flexibility, the MIL-STD-1553 Bus (1553B) has been widely used in the modern military avionics systems. The modeling and simulation are the effective and straightforward methods to evaluate a specific 1553B topology. In this paper, a frequency domain distortion prediction modeling method, which can be used to evaluate the channel attenuation of the 1553B system efficiently and directly, was proposed and well designed. The results show that our method of elevating the attenuation is brief and efficient compared with others. It explicitly predicts the distortion between the terminals and provides instructions of designing the topology of 1553B bus system in the specific application.
