Abstract :
Differential cryptanalysis is a very important method in design and analysis of conventional cryptosystem. In this letter, a differential analysis method is proposed to evaluate the feasibility of chaos used in cryptographic algorithm design, beginning with a cryptosystem based on chaos. Numerical simulation shows that the selection of chaotic states is a crucial factor on the security of cryptosystem based on chaos and can be resolved with the help of differential analysis.
