Abstract
Wavelet Packet Modulation (WPM) is a viable multicarrier modulation technique with high bandwidth efficiency and flexibility. This feature makes it eminently suitable for future generation of communication systems. The WIMAX system based on WPM is presented in the paper for optimizing the bit error rate (BER) performance of WIMAX system. Results show the BER performance is improved by applying the WPM in WIMAX system.
