Abstract
This pager presents an improvement method to distribute weight for 3D-human skin deformation. Firstly, we use affine transformation to synchronize the skeleton gesture with the body gesture of human body. Secondly, we separate the human body into 19 parts based on skeleton nodes. We named the body segments around the skeleton nodes as joint skin, and the rest segments as limb skin. Finally, the weights of joint skins are distributed to the appropriate skeleton nodes based on linear interpolation, and the limb skin weights are set as 1 to correspond with the skeleton nodes. The experimental results validate that the proposed method is an efficient way to 3D-human skin deformation.
