Abstract
Application of virtual reality to tour guide training makes it possible to change the conventional teaching model into the communicative task-oriented one. The study describes the development and implementation of virtual reality in tour guiding to improve communicative skills and professional knowledge of tour guide candidates. An experiment analysis was to illustrate virtual reality is a unique and potentially appropriate educational technology in tour guide training.
