Abstract
TCP throughput for IPv4 and IPv6 is evaluated for various packet sizes using IEEE 802.11n client-server networks using Windows XP and Vista and Server 2008. Both open systems (no security) and the system with WAP2 security is considered. The range of packet sizes varied from 128 to 1408 bytes. The highest TCP throughput achieved was for IPv4 using Windows Vista with 120Mbps (no security) and 110Mbps with WPA2 security.
