Abstract
Efficient Agent Oriented System (AgOS) design depends on the quality of a conceptual architecture of such system. Hence, quality evaluations of AgOS conceptual architecture is a crucial issue for complex system design which is comprised of multiple agents. In this paper, firstly a conceptual framework for Multi-Agent System (MAS) architecture has been proposed. Based on the MAS conceptual architecture a theoretical framework also has been proposed for quality evaluation of such system at the design level. Under the quality evaluation framework, the paper also describes a set of quality metrics along with their theoretical validation based of MAS architecture. The framework includes the metrics for complexity measurements for MAS architecture which is on the structural and dynamic features of such system.
