Abstract :
A new method used in error and VI characteristics measurement of current transformer is developed based on the equivalent model of current transformer. Using this method, the up-flow unit and the standard current transformer are not necessary. And more characteristics of current transformer can be inferred. The current transformer calibrator developed based on this method can carry out rapid and precise measurement. It can be used in the calibration of current transformer according to the state regulations. It also has some expanded functions, such as drawing the VI characteristics curve.
