Abstract :
With the low-voltage meter reading technology developing rapidly, low-voltage meter reading has become a power enterprises´ effective mean to improve automation level of business management, it can not only realize the intelligent management of the users´ electricity consumption, but also to discover and deal with issues such as stealing timely. the low-voltage meter reading system has no uniform standard, implementation techniques are different, it is lack of systematic and comprehensive. A design scheme of automatic meter reading system based on the power line broadband carrier was proposed. The collector of the meter reading system is based on 32-bit ARM microcontroller, external expansion with RS485 interface, 100M Ethernet port, the design of the system software is based on Linux operating system. The collector has the merits, such as fast transfer rate, high reliability and real time, low operation cost. And the collector can achieve transparent transmission of Multi-function meters´ data in power system.
